Jim Hamby graduated from Texas Tech University in 1974 with a double major in marketing and management. Mr. Hamby began his insurance career in 1976 with Crum & Forster Insurance Company as a field underwriter until he joined Wolf-Larkin & Associates in 1980 as Vice President of Commercial Sales where he subsequently was promoted to partner. Wolf-Larkin sold to Hilb, Rogal and Hobbs in 1998, where he served as Vice President of Commercial Sales until his resignation in October of 2005, at which time he joined TexCap-Concord Insurance. Mr. Hamby's expertise is concentrated in large commercial accounts focusing on real-estate and construction. He is married with two children and is a member of Highland Park United Methodist Church.
