Gaylon Brown graduated from Hardin-Simmons University in 1971 and began his insurance career with Millerman and Millerman Insurance Agency (M&M). He became a partner of M&M in 1975, which was later sold to Brook Crawford and Associates in 1992 and subsequently to Hilb, Rogal & Hamilton (HRH) in 1994. Mr. Brown served as Executive Vice-President of Hilb, Rogal & Hamilton (Hobbs) until his resignation in October 2005, at which time he joined TexCap-Concord. He has served on many state and local associations and committees including having served as President of the Independent Insurance Agents of Dallas. Mr. Brown has served on numerous advisory boards for Hartford, America First and Fireman’s Fund. He is a member of the Park Cities Baptist Church and Gleneagles Country Club.
